26 April THEME: Stand & Salute or Independenece Day Cart.

You should have come from Erica's Cricut Craft Room at mycricutcraftroom.blogspot.com.  IF not, please
head on over there when you are done to see many projects created by my design team Sisters!

Today, Theme Day we are celebrating two cartridges  - We could pick Stand and Salute or Independence Day.  I picked both!

** picking paper from Americana Circle/strip from Pebblesinc  - this paper is several years old in case you look for it but the good ole' Red White and Blue never get old...  I also sanded the top of the paper to give it an "old" look as well.

** Cuttlebug Forest branches adorn the bell and then sanded to make it old and worn

** Close to my Heart D1292 Home of the Free stamp set is the sentiment on top of the Dog Tags.

**  Stand and Salute Cricut cartridge  gives us the Dog Tags on page 46 cutting out at 5inches.  I cut the image dog tags that EVERY soldier wears.  I still have mine, as I was in the US Army from 1980 to 1989.

** Independence Day cartridge is using the FREEDOM cut out at 1.5in H  & the LIBERTY BELL cut at 2.5in H.

** 3 star brads from my stash is just random...

IF you are a VET or a SOLDIER - I THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE!!!   IF YOU are a spouse - I thank you too!!!

25 April Christmas count down!

I hope that if you happened to drop by my blog - most importantly - THANK YOU. :)  I would love it though if you stopped by Erica's blog and see the remainder of our talented Design Team friends who have created a card for you to see today.  So go on back to mycricutcraftroom.blogspot.com after you are done commenting here  and I pray getting some creative ideas.

NEVER to early to start on Christmas cards and intend on making a few each month..  I am searching out Imagine cartridges with Images to make Christmas cards for this month.

The Good Old Days Imagine cartridge-  when I first saw this Image - my first thought was.. BEAUTIFUL!   just the images of the children and different sentiments popped into mind.

**Cut out at 3.5 - how simple and easy is this....    I picked some light weight velvet material in my scrap box and tore the bottom.  it just screamed Christmas!
**I used Diamond Stickles to enhance the stars and the images in the tree that I saw as lights.
**Stamp set used is from Close to My Heart - D1388 card Chatter - Christmas.
** gold cord from ctmh is used on the side of the card

Please head on back to Erica's cricut craft room at mycricutcraftroom.blogspot.com  and see more creativity from my Design Team sisters!

16 April Imagine day!

I would love it if you head back over to Erica's blog at mycricutcraftroom.blogspot.com  after you
are done commenting on my blog today (please)  :)  YOU don't want to miss any of the Awesome Cricut Creativity from my fellow design Team Sisters!!

I so love my Imagine cartridges.  it is nice to know that you can get creative with a cartridge other than the "intended" title.. For instance. today, I have chosen NURSERY TAILS.  This tells you in general it's for babies.  BUT let me show you my card and this card is perfect for anyone... other than a baby...

** I just love my Liquid Pearls - Erica over at My Cricut Craft Room got me started on these beautiful lil bottles of creativity! you can find these at http://www.shop.ericascraftroom.com/  So easy to work with!  colors used on butterflies and under the stamped sentiment.   baby blue, buttercup & petal pink.

** Nursery Tails Imagine cartridge cutting the paper found on page 35 for the small frame for the Butterfly kisses cut out at 3.5 in.. found on page 21.

** blue paper is from my stash and I believe from Bazzills.

** the green ribbon is from Ribbon Doilies paper ribbon.  3 to a pack.  I chose the green.  Isn't is so pretty!!

** Stamped sentiment is from the awesome Kristal - kandrews designs.  Winged Things.  you  can go to her blog  to see this and more stamp sets!!

So do you agree with never judging a cartridge by it's title??  I hope you have seen that here today!

Please leave some love of comments today and tell me what other projects you have created using this cartridge..
I would love it if you head back over to mycricutcraftroom.blogspot.com  to see MORE of my awesome design team sisters creativity and their projects today!
