Christmas Paper Piecing Blog Hop! 2 & 3rd dec 2011

paper Piecing can be a lot of fun - especially when you have an Cricut or any electronic die-cutting machine that is out there.  Today, My project is all Cricut!

Here is my project for today  --I hope you like it!!  A Christmas Wreath - paper style.

Jolly Holiday cartridge creates this awesome Wreath cut out at 11.24h & 10.62w as well as the berries and leaves.   MERRY CHRISTMAS is created using Holiday Cake cartridge cut out at 10w & 3.h.

Berries were outlined with black pen and layered with Glossy essentials to give it that shiny berry look!  Leaves were shaded around the edges using the Color Box; Olive pastel inkpad.      Merry Christmas is backed in Black Cardstock and the top layer is paper from the DCWV Christmas pack (had it for years..)   Inked around the edges of Christmas is using TAN ink from InkXpressions.  it looks really pretty.  hard to see it here. 

  I used POP-DOTS from Stampin Up' for the Merry Christmas to give it depth.

The patterned paper is from the DCWV Christmas paper pack from years earlier.  It is a cardstock weight.  and glossed over using hr Glossy Accents.   Ribbon is from Close to My Heart. and then hung and tied off.
