25 June - CCR style...

                                  is the theme for today

So excited to have you visiting me today, If you  happened to just drop by here - thank you :)  - BUT...  (always a but...) I would love it if you hopped over to Erica's Cricut craft room  at and start there to see my fellow DT friends and their creativity AND to hop by Erica's on-line store mentioned below..

OMG - as I am preparing this post -  it hit me - I AM 50 today!!!  OMG!!

I used the exclusive;  Cricut Font & Basic Shapes #37 on the overlay (in the CCR) Under the Funky Shapes Tab.    I looked at these shapes and wanted to make one of each...   so head on over to the cricut craft Room and try this font and funky shapes.   I cut the funky shapes out at 2x2

I embossed with the following folders you see.  I then inked them over with chalk ink and with  Dew Drop Versa Magic Multi- Surface Chalk Ink by Tsukineko; colors used today are Egg Plant and the other color is Hint Of Pesto.  These Versa Magic's were from Erica's store at

If you notice the card a little plain - It is.. on purpose..  I just didn't get "that feeling" of anything else needed to be added...     what do you think??

I cut these out  - plain card-stock

these are the embossing folders I used

So what do you think?  Let me know.

Please head back to Erica's Cricut Craft Room  to see my fellow Design team sisters in their creativity for today's Cricut craft Room exclusive creativity or the letter Z over at

18 June - Teacher card - Imagine Style

I am glad you are here today, BUT (always a but... huh..)  BUT... I would LOVE it if you would go back to Erica's Craft Room at  to see what My Creative Dt sisters have created for you Using their Imagines or even picking the Letter of the day which is.....

many of these supplies can be purchased at Erica's on-line store at so when you are done seeing all these creative ideas - head on over there and see what specials you can find today!

I have made 2 cards today - I love my Imagine and wanted to show off the new cartridge; Word of Mouth.

On page 23 - I saw this cutest image of dog & cat -  and my daughter came to mind  -she has and loves both and as her and her boyfriend have their "roles" as owner...  perfect - yes!!

I cut the back bone image out first at 11.139w & 5.667h.  As you can "edit' on the cricut craft room. I cut the bone  from cardboard.  Next I printed the entire image again and cut off the larger bone image - to give it a layer look.  The image was cut on Imagine Vinyl at normal cuts and speeds.  It gave it a different look vs CS paper.

I inked around the edges with Chocolate ink pad from ctmh.

On the back I glued down a hanger hook so they can hang it up.

Added a pearl colored bling to her collar.  (I am sorry i don't have the name, but I do believe they are in Erica's store)
the "man" dog has Tim Holtz  distress antique bronze stickles  on his collar and a blue large pearl like bling as well.
You can order this adorable imagine cartridge Word Of Mouth from Erica's store at    Remember IF you have an E2 you can too order this - then create your own colors...

I loved making this teacher card.. it was fun to be creative other than a diploma on..  Of course he gave it to her already...
Imagine cartridge Notebook Doodles is so MUCH fun as I could print out paper.. like here for the lined paper.
Imagine Cartridge The Good Old Days has created this student.. cut out at 2.078 w/h

Pink By Design has a perfect Stamp set called OUR TEACHERS. In which is all the sentiments used here.   Stamped in grey and purple which is 2 of the school colors.

Don't you just love the measuring tape - it is through 7 Gypsies.. I have had this forever and is perfect for so many projects.

Jayden wrote his name and then wanted his name on his "desk" here as he did in class.
Please head on over to Erica's HERE at My Cricut Craft Room to be inspired by my fellow Dt sisters.. for more Imagine projects OR the Letter Y. (they pick a cartridge that starts with Y OR an item that starts with Y)

11th June creating with the Cricut Craft Room Exclusive Cartridge

Thank you for joining us today, I hope that you have come from Erica's Cricut Craft Room, BUT if not, that is okay too. I am so glad you are here!  I invite you to visit her blog and see the MANY creative projects my fellow DT sisterS shave created today.. in which today is the
Cricut Craft Room (CCR) Exclusives   or the Letter X..

Today, I come to you with a VERY simple project -  I was asked to make a VERY simple - no frills, no embellishments type of little card that will be given out at a baby shower -  it will have the basics of this game..

Using the Cricut Craft Room and the EXCLUSIVES only for this project is..   I used all basic baby colors.

Cricut Craft Room Basics in which is the Onsie cut out at 5.347h.   The ? is cut at .875h

The BOY is joined  (I know there is another word.  but just can't get it out of my brain..) already in the Cricut Font & Basic Shapes and cut out at .847h

The GIRL and the OR is cut from Cricut Font & Basic Shapes  - from the FONTS.. cut at .722h each letter (approx.)

I talked her into letting me scribble around the edge like a cool stitch.

I will at a later date try to make this style a lot more fun but for the meantime - I have a lot of work to do to get these done...  LOL

on the back as I get the stamps I need to complete  -it will have the questions that they fill out guessing the: length, weight, time, day, and is it a boy or girl???    whomever is closer - wins.....

SO here you have it -  COME try the Cricut Craft Room and the Exclusives and how much fun you can be when creativity is right in front of you...

Please head back over to Erica's craft room at  and see what other projects my creative design Team sisters have come up with the Cricut Craft Room Exclusives

5 June - Graduation card - Kid style

Please join Erica and my fellow Design team sisters when you are through browsing and commenting  here over at to see the many creative Ideas with Graduation cards.

I created this future kindergartner card  for Kaiden using RECESS cricut cartridge cut out at 4.486h.  - it is a boy image as a little graduate.

using the Imagine for the face, hand and leg color at R255 G220 B177.  perfect skin tone!

Paper is left over from past projects. I stamped on the paper using the Ctmh stamp set C1351 You Did It. using the words  "YOU DID IT"  in red ink.

Peachy Keen face is from Boy Mates PK 643 at 1 1/8th.

IF you notice his top looks a little different from the regular image...  I had to reprint and cut his top.  I messed up on the original.  It gives it a nice little 3d image on the card now...   I used black pen and just outlined around the edge of his hat and top.

I know it is not the best card but as fast as I made it from the start to finish is a little faster  (okay.. a LOT faster than usual).  Mom needed it NOW..  lol...  Kaiden really accomplished so much during his 2 yrs as a preschooler..  So may concerns on his ability to see colors and a few other issues..  He has accomplished so much!

Please come on back over to Erica's blog at to see the many graduation cards... by my creative Design team sisters...
