SO.. I bet your wondering how this name and thought came about.. During the 13 days of Halloween I was participating in - Gill had this awesome card with a picture.. It gave ME a thought.. hmm.. a blog hop showing a PICTURE from either one you took OR from a magazine and create a project from that. I talked to Gill and since my experience with starting hops (on FB) was zilch - she and I are co-hosting this hop. Thanks Gill for teaching me about getting a hop together.. :) (I still have lots to learn..lol) SO I thank you for coming by.

Onto my project for today.. What could I do - so many ideas came to mind.. Here is my first thought..
an invitation... I have my son, Jayden who will be 8 this year under water and he loves pool parties and again.. we will have yet another pool party. I am making them ahead of time so that his friends from school can come (no excuses this year..)
I used a 4x6 pic from last year summer pool time. I used a underwater camera from Wal-mart. I used Rub-On's from American Crafts called Jack. This will be the front of the invitation.

I used ctmh ink pad moonstruck BUT for the rest of the invites I will be using blue Stazon as when you STILL touch the back it is still inky. ** I cut the wave and the beach balls from the cartridge Life is A Beach. Wave cut at 1.4in and the balls at 1in in the Imagine and using the built in colors. ** I typed up the format of the invitation on my computer and then inked the edges with ctmh crystal Blue ink and tore the bottom. |
