My Creative time Throwback Challenge with green & yellow baby gift bag

l
Paper bag from Micheal's.  Cricut cartridges used are Graphically Speaking for "Handle with Care, " cut at 5.29w and New Arrival for baby cut at 3.82h.    Background paper was used from my stash because it was green and because it had hearts and it was cute....  My Handle with care is using yellow paper from Ctmh as the green background is unknown from my stash.  Brown Kraft paper is used for baby.  I used the Peachy Keen Stamp set PK 651 Just Baby Faces 1 1/8.  isn't this such a cute face!!   I used Z463 Spring harmony CTMH Sassy Strands to wrap around the bag as well as it is holding the baby up.  hence the phrase.. Handle with Care  :)

I hope you can see the baby hanging using the 3d dots from Stampin Up.  see his arm....  My granddaughter, Shayanna, age 2 decided she HAD to help baby..  sorry....   The yellow that  kinda sorta highlighted around the baby is using a yellow crayon from Stampin Up.    I am not sure if you can tell or not - BUT I double cut the blanket and 3d' it on top of the original cut.  It looks much cuter.   I left this bag a simple bag and perhaps will add a little more flair when the time comes to use it.

backboard for cupcakes.... and later accessory for baby room

sorry so big - but I wanted you to see how cute this board is.  All i used was a board that you buy in a cake store or even wal-mart to put cakes on..  I painted it with making memories blue scrapbook paint.  I also used the New Arrival Cricut cartridge & Paisley cricut cartridge. CTMH stamp sets: D1062 Zoo Friends & D1285 Life's A Life's a Jungle stamp set.  Letters in the words are from A Child's Year cricut cartidge.      I sealed it all in using Modge Podge.  Of course I have no picture of the cupcakes on here.. but they were yummy.   Momma to be will put this on his dressar to hold all of his goodies he got.

monkeys - so cute!!

New Arrival cricut cartridge was used for this fun wall decoration for a baby shower. (more pics to come in posts).  CS used CTMH deleted colors breeze & kiwi and 2 different brown from ctmh for the background.  I had so much with the tummy.  I used Ctmh refill ink:  mixture of white daisy & desert sand along with the liquid applique. then heat embossed.  His nose (cuter in person) is the black diamond from stickles.  I created the monkeys on my Gypsy at 9in in height.  I love my Gypsy!!

If you see the tummy close enough.  after i first heat embossed his tummy.  I used a toothpick and pulled it up all over. tried to have it look like it was standing up.  i then added a little more in areas and re-heat embossed.  Again.. it looks cuter in real life..  :)

Monkey for cupcakes

Pieces cut from the NEW ARRIVAL cartridge.  I used it all except for the round small piece
besides the NEW ARRIVAL cartridge monkey I also used the Peachy Keen stamps "Critter faces size med. for the eyes and colored it in with the white daisy marker from ctmh. Ctmh cardstock was also used. For the nose.. I used the black diamond from Stickles.  His belly; this was fun.  I used the Puffy Velvet fabric marker from Marvy color brown #6; after I "smooshed" the color into the circle of the belly, I then heat embossed it and whalaa.. the belly arose all puffy like belly hair...  I have a colored toothpick glued down with hot a glue gun to the back of the monkey.  oh yes, I forgot to add that I have green for the shadow of the monkey.

I made 50 of these cutie monkeys for cupcakes for a baby shower next weekend.   it does look cuter in person that this scanned monkey... I promise  :)     here's a question... I want to do something with the mouth - but don't know exactly what.  Do you have any suggestions??
