16 Jan Letter C brings today the cartridges...

How are you today?? I hope awesome.
I hope you have arrived from http://mycricutcraftroom.blogspot.com  but if not, please head on over there and check out all the awesome projects that my fellow DT friends have created!

LETTER C today is featured using the cartridges Cricut decals and Cricut Imagine Country Carnival

Cricut Decals and using the Imagine Vinyl.  colors are from within the Imagine machine pre-set.
This is cut from my Imagine at the FULL PAGE .  I wanted it to be BIG BUT to fit on one page.  here it is!  Cricut Decals is the cutest cartridge ever!!  These are actually 3 cuts from the cartridge!  They eventually will be on my car window!

IN MY CRAFT ROOM IS WHERE THESE AWESOME SAYINGS ARE!
I have this awesome saying over my Cricut area!
I know my wall is plain right now but my room is a MESS and I am in the midst of cleaning it for the blog hop I am in on the 20th Jan.  So I see that the cricut is kinda crooked.. off to fix it.. sorry.

My 2nd project is from the Imagine cartridge Country Carnival. A beautiful cartridge - paper, tag and butterfly all come from this awesome cartridge
** I used CTMH inks  Sorbet, chocolate and cranberry. ** chocolate ctmh paper for the outside
** frosted lace stickles for the roses.
** CTMH stamp saying (inside and outside on tag) D1197 My One & Only

*** Can you see the tag in the middle  - cut at 2.8in and then embossed using the rose embossing folder from Once Upon A Princess.. I inked the middle of the roses with sorbet and lightly dabbed with chocolate ink after I lightly sandpapered it. I used the stamp set saying  "I have learned from you, leaned on you and Loved having you in my life and stamped several times on the tag. The same saying is inside as well.   ctmh gold twine is wrapped around it and the pretty butterfly sits among the tag.

** inked around the edge of the pretty paper with sorbet ink.
*** Butterfly cut at 1.5in. ~  Paper (top layer) cut at 6.3 then trimmed to the size desired. ~ tag in middle cut at 2.8

Please head back to http://cricutcraftroom.blogspot.com and see what my Design Team sisters have created!

ROCKIN birthday girl

My granddaughter, Madison turned 8 and was VERY specific about the colors and her "style" of her decorations - BUT did inform me  - do whatever you want grandma. her 1st choice was Justin Beiber but we don't have a cartridge for that...  WHY NOT Grandma.. YOU have everything else!   I hope you enjoy.. the pics are broken up as it was hard to get them all together for a good pic.  I will break down the directions throughout the pictures so you can see  them too...   AND would you believe I had 3 days to get this done..  last minute she wanted decorations - THESE decorations!!

Here is the picture of the decorations I created.  Using My gypsy to create -  and Expression to print..   ALL paper is from close to My heart unless noted otherwise..  Colors: Bubblegum, Crystal Blue & Key Lime and ink - Bubblegum.   red was used for her hair.  So here goes... .
.
She was fun to make using Rock princess cartridge at 7in H  Red hair like my granddaughter with stickles as barrettes.  If you notices their skirts - it is created using stickles.  One girl has Worn Lipstick and the other has Cotton Candy.  a lil bling on their shirt (a butterfly)  peachy keen stamps baby faces 1 1/8 for her face - I love the versatility from the faces!  BUT silly me forgot to color the eyes in. (been pretty sick as I was making these)

Guitar has glitter on the long part (whatever this part is called  :0) double sided scrap paper allowed me to give the 2 guitars 2 different looks.
Sheer ribbon was wrapped about their hand and the guitars hot glued  with some paper behind.. looks pretty this way.  This will hang in her room when all done!
I had some blue chipboard letters left over in a baggie in my stash (I have a lot of stashes  lol) Amazing enough - MADISON spelled her name with Icicle stickles to bling it up.  even the guitar strings up top have some bling too!  i love to ink around the edges and it shows up her on the guitar parts which were embossed with Stars with Swirls.  Smiley Cards cartridge (on on the Gypsy) was used for the guitars at 6.50in H

aren't these boots adorable.  black paper and diamond stickles made these boots a "rockin!  please forgive the piece of paper you see here - I was in a rush took the pic - but i did take it off!  I normally am more careful!!

a plain cake board created an awesome background for paper and some cricut cuts to create an awesome background for her cupcakes and will be on her dresser later! - paper: left over from ctmh colors mentioned on top AND Birthday Lingo patterned paper from kelly Panacci / sandylion created such an awesome look.  torn paper and a lil ink covered this board.  Cake Basics Cricut cartridge for the "make a wish" and Sweet Treats cartridge for the candles cut out at 5.50in H

I LOVE making decorations for Cupcakes!!  I spelled out  happy 8th birthday madison  using cardboard chipboard - they were white and I just added some Bling stickles  worn lipstick & cotton candy to the letters and guitar.  Placed on the Party Picks toothpicks - it was perfect!!

Cake basics Cricut cartridge was cut using the Happy Birthday and some Stickles added some bling to the letters.

her cupcakes - they were yummy!  A few extra guitars were placed around the cupcakes as fill in's.
I hope you liked my granddaughters decorations!!

So excited to be showing you this project that I made...  I love fall -  I made this for a non-profit organization Families Together who educates, assists, basically a backbone for families with children with disabilities.  I have a son 7 with Autism and this organization has been a tremendous help with understanding and assisting with special ed law in schools!  Every state has a Families Together if you have a child with disabilities.  FAMILIES TOGETHER - I also am a parent to parent mom and a board member - anywho...  I made these as they were given an opportunity for all staff in Kansas to be given an bonus as a thank you and it's my thank you as well :)

Using the cartridge  Easter 2010 on #50 on the overlay and just hid the bunny on the hide feature on my Gypsy.  **Cutting at size  11.5 in height and 5.50 width. created on my gypsy and using my awesome Expression. ** Close to My heart cardstock.
**Embossing folder THANKS from Cuttlebug by PC for the top of this envelope and then sanded lightly to disclose the white. (LOVE this effect)  the Leaves were created using the maple Leaf folder & die from PC cuttlebug. and then embossed using a coordinating folder.
**  I handwritten the thank you, name & years on the top leaf.
**The 3 leaves were inked using the Spectrum pad Pumpkin patch ink pad from Stampin Up.     I have had the rafia for years now from Wal-Mart.

I hope you like this pillow box.  Just shows you can use any item from any cartridge for any reason....     Please head on over  to Kristen's Blog.

ONTO my project now...

So here we are on day 1 -  I hope you enjoy...   MINI MONSTER cricut cartridge and # 48 on the overlay. Cut at 6in.  Created on my Gypsy and cut using my expression.  he will eventually go to school at the FALL party for my 1st grader.  I love his eyes as you scroll down and see that I used a dopper thingy and inked with the Spectrum Pad Pumpkin Patch from Stampin Up. then the Googly eyes sit on them... The inking around the edging is from the same ink pad.  All papers used are from Close to my Heart. I will eventually put each child's name on his tummy.    The twine is from Wal-Mart and is used for the handle which is held by the buttons for his ears.  I marked with black marker around his tummy

Holds LOTS of lil candy and even a bag of lil pretzels.

buttons for his ears which holds the twine to hold up the bag.

2nd project which was seen on another blog at Love to Crop when I was a guest designer.  It was supposed to be on here but I joined last minute and used it.  I will show it here, just in case you missed it on the 14 days challenge of FALL COLORS.
MANY cricut cartridges were used.  If you'd like to see them - look on my side bar for the Love to Crop guest designer and see all the details.  I used Vinyl for all the words, an apple and some leaves.  for the other icons - I used Epoxy stickers and a few stickers.  it really gave it a POP!  I bought this aluminum sign at Hobby Lobby in the Fall section.  They had various colors..  so many options!!

Your next stop is ... Kristen at  http://huneebcreations.blogspot.com/  Have a great day and please stop back tomorrow for another great project.

Alien bd card with lots of embossing!

This was fun creating even though i think it look better in person than my pic taking... My little guy went to a birthday party who was turning 4!  Boys will be Boys Cricut cartridge was used. Cut at 4in on the Expression and designed on the Gypsy.  Papers used are CTMH and a few scraps.  Inks & sanding is CTMH.  googly eyes are from Micheal's.    Embossing folders used are: Tiny bubbles (pc) for the body - Spots & dots (pc)  for his belly, in which looks better in person. the border of the card is from Cricut Mini Monsters set.  I sanded the aliens body which looks really cool!    #4 is cut from Boys will be Boys cartridge!
can you see the layers of  his eyes. Again - my picture taking could have been better but i was in a hurry.  He looks cool with the 3d effect.  Kaiden, the birthday boy thought he was COOL!!

My Creative time Throwback Challenge with green & yellow baby gift bag

l
Paper bag from Micheal's.  Cricut cartridges used are Graphically Speaking for "Handle with Care, " cut at 5.29w and New Arrival for baby cut at 3.82h.    Background paper was used from my stash because it was green and because it had hearts and it was cute....  My Handle with care is using yellow paper from Ctmh as the green background is unknown from my stash.  Brown Kraft paper is used for baby.  I used the Peachy Keen Stamp set PK 651 Just Baby Faces 1 1/8.  isn't this such a cute face!!   I used Z463 Spring harmony CTMH Sassy Strands to wrap around the bag as well as it is holding the baby up.  hence the phrase.. Handle with Care  :)

I hope you can see the baby hanging using the 3d dots from Stampin Up.  see his arm....  My granddaughter, Shayanna, age 2 decided she HAD to help baby..  sorry....   The yellow that  kinda sorta highlighted around the baby is using a yellow crayon from Stampin Up.    I am not sure if you can tell or not - BUT I double cut the blanket and 3d' it on top of the original cut.  It looks much cuter.   I left this bag a simple bag and perhaps will add a little more flair when the time comes to use it.

butterfly card with embossing

I hope you can see all the details that are in this awesome lil butterfly card I have made for my friends lil girls BD party tonight.      Gypsy wanderings cartridge is used for the bottom tag layer and the butterfly..    the Bling used is from Close to my Heart as well as the cardstock and ink for edging.  I used the princess Cuttlebug Cricut embossing folder on the background and then sanded it.  LOVE the effect it gives.  The butterfly  is a 3D effect.  The felt (omg - can't even remember where it come from except from the LSS.   I inked with CTMH watermelon ink all over the card to give it a bright pink effect.

I hope you like the card.  I think it's cuter in person than scanned in. Let me know what you think.  Her sister is celebrating her bd tonight too. So an elephant will be here soon.

NOTE::As I look at the butterfly more - it looks cute BUT I will be changing the inside of pink to pale yellow as the other side looks so much cuter!

graduation card.. non cricut but awesome the same!

My granddaughter Shayanna who is 2.5.  I accidently pulled her pic in and then she was so happy....  how could I delete her.  She is such a grandmas's girl!!

I started making this card for a friend and I loved the results so much that I made a couple more and decided to post it.  I will (try) and save it for a submit to a craft magazine.. (If I can..).   OKAY.. the details...   Close To my heart is used for the card-stock; (amethyst & brown) The blue is from jawbreaker; a paper line name that was a scrap.   Ink edging (honey & heavenly blue) and the white flower (the one in middle),   the purple flower is from Prima flowers (the ones in the jars)  and the yellowish bottom flower is from Prima; floral embellishment.  the brown brad was that of a package that was opened and dumped into my lil bin of brads - it's the prettiest brown bad I had.   And last but the prettiest...  the lacy knit ribbon from Bo Bunny; Bella Journel     The verse is a copy that my friend had and i copied it (with her ok).  it was old??.. so source of where she bought it is unknown ; but the author is Beth Stuckwisch.  Isn't it a beautiful saying.
I hope you like the close-ups.  I am so an amateur for picture taking....

Superman

This is the back of the door hanger.  I doubled the letters on the word ROOM.  They are the fonts on this cartridge.
This is the card from this cartridge.  the words go along with it as layers detail 2.  If you have seen this cartridge already.. you know a superman is on the front.  i did cut it out but lo' and behold...  it tore and therefore running out of time  -I excluded it from the card.
I used the Superman cartridge.  This is the door hanger and the words that go along with the door hanger.  I added the font on this cartridge for his name.  The superman symbol is from the layers on the card.
