3 July - Thank you my friend....

Coming from Erica's blog over at My Cricut craft room is the place to start today for many Thank You Cards from my many talented Design team sisters..  So when done her - please head back over to Erica's blog at mycricutcraftroom.blogspot.com

Thanking your friend for being there whenever.. wherever.. is very uplifting to her as well as for you....  and yes...  MUCH cheaper than therapy..  :)

Word of Mouth, Imagine cartridge had the perfect sentiment for a perfect thank you card.  page 10 at 3inches and a few color changes -  coordinated perfect with this perfect double sided paper from Imaginisce.  Compliments from Erica from My cricut craft room and more of this awesome paper can be found at her on-line store at  http://www.shop.ericascraftroom.com/

Complimented with a stamp set saying from Ctmh D1361 - Thank You..    The paper that has the saying is actually from the other side of the Girlfriend paper.

Some pearl like stickers has adorned the flourish around our main sentiment.

A few bling from Martha Stewart in between the live and laugh is also found in Erica's on-line store.

5 June - Graduation card - Kid style

Please join Erica and my fellow Design team sisters when you are through browsing and commenting  here over at mycricutcraftroom.blogspot.com to see the many creative Ideas with Graduation cards.

I created this future kindergartner card  for Kaiden using RECESS cricut cartridge cut out at 4.486h.  - it is a boy image as a little graduate.

using the Imagine for the face, hand and leg color at R255 G220 B177.  perfect skin tone!

Paper is left over from past projects. I stamped on the paper using the Ctmh stamp set C1351 You Did It. using the words  "YOU DID IT"  in red ink.

Peachy Keen face is from Boy Mates PK 643 at 1 1/8th.

IF you notice his top looks a little different from the regular image...  I had to reprint and cut his top.  I messed up on the original.  It gives it a nice little 3d image on the card now...   I used black pen and just outlined around the edge of his hat and top.

I know it is not the best card but as fast as I made it from the start to finish is a little faster  (okay.. a LOT faster than usual).  Mom needed it NOW..  lol...  Kaiden really accomplished so much during his 2 yrs as a preschooler..  So may concerns on his ability to see colors and a few other issues..  He has accomplished so much!

Please come on back over to Erica's blog at mycricutcraftroom.blogspot.com to see the many graduation cards... by my creative Design team sisters...

26 April THEME: Stand & Salute or Independenece Day Cart.

You should have come from Erica's Cricut Craft Room at mycricutcraftroom.blogspot.com.  IF not, please
head on over there when you are done to see many projects created by my design team Sisters!

Today, Theme Day we are celebrating two cartridges  - We could pick Stand and Salute or Independence Day.  I picked both!

** picking paper from Americana Circle/strip from Pebblesinc  - this paper is several years old in case you look for it but the good ole' Red White and Blue never get old...  I also sanded the top of the paper to give it an "old" look as well.

** Cuttlebug Forest branches adorn the bell and then sanded to make it old and worn

** Close to my Heart D1292 Home of the Free stamp set is the sentiment on top of the Dog Tags.

**  Stand and Salute Cricut cartridge  gives us the Dog Tags on page 46 cutting out at 5inches.  I cut the image dog tags that EVERY soldier wears.  I still have mine, as I was in the US Army from 1980 to 1989.

** Independence Day cartridge is using the FREEDOM cut out at 1.5in H  & the LIBERTY BELL cut at 2.5in H.

** 3 star brads from my stash is just random...

IF you are a VET or a SOLDIER - I THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE!!!   IF YOU are a spouse - I thank you too!!!

25 April Christmas count down!

I hope that if you happened to drop by my blog - most importantly - THANK YOU. :)  I would love it though if you stopped by Erica's blog and see the remainder of our talented Design Team friends who have created a card for you to see today.  So go on back to mycricutcraftroom.blogspot.com after you are done commenting here  and I pray getting some creative ideas.

NEVER to early to start on Christmas cards and intend on making a few each month..  I am searching out Imagine cartridges with Images to make Christmas cards for this month.

The Good Old Days Imagine cartridge-  when I first saw this Image - my first thought was.. BEAUTIFUL!   just the images of the children and different sentiments popped into mind.

**Cut out at 3.5 - how simple and easy is this....    I picked some light weight velvet material in my scrap box and tore the bottom.  it just screamed Christmas!
**I used Diamond Stickles to enhance the stars and the images in the tree that I saw as lights.
**Stamp set used is from Close to My Heart - D1388 card Chatter - Christmas.
** gold cord from ctmh is used on the side of the card
