Here is my project for today  --I hope you like it!!  A Christmas Wreath - paper style.
Jolly Holiday cartridge creates this awesome Wreath cut out at 11.24h & 10.62w as well as the berries and leaves.   MERRY CHRISTMAS is created using Holiday Cake cartridge cut out at 10w & 3.h.    MORE DETAILS are noted in the pics below

Berries were outlined with black pen and layered with Glossy essentials to give it that shiny berry look!  Leaves were shaded around the edges using the Color Box; Olive pastel inkpad.      Merry Christmas is backed in Black Cardstock and the top layer is paper from the DCWV Christmas pack (had it for years..)   Inked around the edges of Christmas is using TAN ink from InkXpressions.  it looks really pretty.  hard to see it here.   I used POP-DOTS from Stampin Up' for the Merry Christmas to give it depth.

The patterned paper is from the DCWV Christmas paper pack from years earlier.  It is a cardstock weight.  and glossed over using hr Glossy Accents.   Ribbon is from Close to My Heart. and then hung and tied off.
I hope you enjoyed MY Paper Piercings challenge.  I am also hoping to get onto Nikki's Design Team using this project.  So please leave me some love and tell me what you think..
NEXT is...   JANET    and remember - you must comment on each blog to be eligible for the BLOG CANDY NIKKI has on over at her site.

1st Dec 2011 - 25 days of Christmas - Christmas Theme

Welcome to Erica's Craft Room
25 Days of Christmas,
with 25 Cricut projects a day.
Don't forget to stop by Erica's blog to see 24 more projects today....
and every day in December.

Doris used A Child's Year - Joys of the Season - Wrap it Up and Holiday Cakes Cricut Cartridges to create this Home Decor!

I love Christmas and the possibilities of creating something new and different and to either keep it or give it as a present.  My vase will be a present before Christmas for my daughter. My project today is making Home decor.  How did I come up with this, you ask, We were in the general dollar store recently looking at the decorations and this had a vase with a few Christmas bulbs in it. (I think someone opened a pkg and dumped some in there) - a lighbulb went off...

Inside the vase is silver and gold bells and red shiny bulbs along with cut strands of silver & gold ribbon.

BELIEVE is cut using A Child's Year at a total of 5.29 in Height and 1in in width.  Joys of the Season is from Wrap It Up cartridge cut at 3.24 in both in H & W.    Holiday Cakes cartridge was cut for the snowflakes - cut at 3.94 h & 4.87w.   This has a cluster of snowflakes which are simple yet awesome!

The vase, bells, and bulbs are all from the Dollar General.  Twine gold and silver are from Stampin' Up!  The

Using ICICLE from Stickles added a lot of UMPH to the snowflakes and to the vase and around the rim of the vase as well!  What do you think??

A plain vase with gold & silver bells and red bulbs from the dollar general store was dumped into this pretty plain vase.. BUT not for long...

jumped ahead a little... this is the end of the making...  I used stickles to enhance the white Vinyl words.  See the gold & silver ribbon inside the vase.  The snowflakes shiimer with the stickles too.

plain ol joys of the season, but not for long as they get a little bling of stickles too!  The bells off of the word is stckled too!  A brad makes it a 3d pretty look onto the ribbon.

I love this look and might use this for my blog hop in Jan. (picture it perfect)  Need a better photo shoot though :)

all done-  I hope you like it and have enjoyed the pictures I have taken :)

Mothers day card PS #1 challenge

I just LOVE this cartridge! I used #1 image for the lady as well as using misc scraps for her outfit. I used the Mother's Day seasonal cartridge for Happy Mothers Day images 29 & 39 on CTMH CS (black & cranberry). Bling from CTMH is on the edging and on her top for 'buttons". left over paisleys from the earlier projects (that i messed up on became left overs) and this was used on the card too. CTMH cranberry ink was used to kinda spice up the background. I have many more Mothers day cards to go...This was fun!

Out of my "comfort Zone" PS project # 3 Paisley

This was defintely not hard deciding what "style" to use for the challenge of out of my comfort zone for 2 reasons: 1) just images on paper and small saying & 2) it is pasleys. not just into paisleys..
I used the Cricut Holiday Cake cartridge on #17 pad at 4inches. Paper used was CTMH b&t and CS.
Saying was a left over rub-on trhat says I Miss You. My friend will like this card...

Flower card #10 PS project

I made this flower card which looks better in person than the way it scanned :( At 4inches and using the Holiday Cakes cartridge with #12 on the key pad. paper used was CTMH B&T paper from Groovy Blossoms. Saying is left over Rub on's (Family begins and ends with family) and finishing with pretty pink ribbon from SU.
