18 June - Teacher card - Imagine Style

I am glad you are here today, BUT (always a but... huh..)  BUT... I would LOVE it if you would go back to Erica's Craft Room at mycricutcraftroom.blogspot.com  to see what My Creative Dt sisters have created for you Using their Imagines or even picking the Letter of the day which is.....

many of these supplies can be purchased at Erica's on-line store at http://www.shop.ericascraftroom.com/ so when you are done seeing all these creative ideas - head on over there and see what specials you can find today!

I have made 2 cards today - I love my Imagine and wanted to show off the new cartridge; Word of Mouth.

On page 23 - I saw this cutest image of dog & cat -  and my daughter came to mind  -she has and loves both and as her and her boyfriend have their "roles" as owner...  perfect - yes!!

I cut the back bone image out first at 11.139w & 5.667h.  As you can "edit' on the cricut craft room. I cut the bone  from cardboard.  Next I printed the entire image again and cut off the larger bone image - to give it a layer look.  The image was cut on Imagine Vinyl at normal cuts and speeds.  It gave it a different look vs CS paper.

I inked around the edges with Chocolate ink pad from ctmh.

On the back I glued down a hanger hook so they can hang it up.

Added a pearl colored bling to her collar.  (I am sorry i don't have the name, but I do believe they are in Erica's store)
the "man" dog has Tim Holtz  distress antique bronze stickles  on his collar and a blue large pearl like bling as well.
You can order this adorable imagine cartridge Word Of Mouth from Erica's store at http://www.shop.ericascraftroom.com/    Remember IF you have an E2 you can too order this - then create your own colors...

 NEXT CARD.....
I loved making this teacher card.. it was fun to be creative other than a diploma on..  Of course he gave it to her already...
Imagine cartridge Notebook Doodles is so MUCH fun as I could print out paper.. like here for the lined paper.
Imagine Cartridge The Good Old Days has created this student.. cut out at 2.078 w/h

Pink By Design has a perfect Stamp set called OUR TEACHERS. In which is all the sentiments used here.   Stamped in grey and purple which is 2 of the school colors.

Don't you just love the measuring tape - it is through 7 Gypsies.. I have had this forever and is perfect for so many projects.

Jayden wrote his name and then wanted his name on his "desk" here as he did in class.
Please head on over to Erica's HERE at My Cricut Craft Room to be inspired by my fellow Dt sisters.. for more Imagine projects OR the Letter Y. (they pick a cartridge that starts with Y OR an item that starts with Y)

Father's Day is coming up..  All dad's need a card of their favorite hobby - mine hubby loves to fish. The grandkids just think he is the coolest to go fishing with.   Our 7yr old thinks he always catches the biggest fish - no matter the size!!

Today, using the Imagine cartridge The Good Old Days, I have created using the fisherman at 4in on the Imagine using the Cricut Craft Room.  Using ctmh colored pencils has colored in his face and hands to represent dad...

Stampin Up! stamp sets: Happy fathers Day is from a set from 1998 and the inside sentiment from a 2005 stamp set featuring kids dressed like adults with a mothers day stamp too..

random scrap paper to enhance the colors of card and then my favorite...  black twine from Ctmh used as the fishing line.

I hope you like my card and see that you can manipulate cards to your needs...

CRICUT EXCLUSIVE EASTER BLESSINGS - Considering that today is Easter - what an appropriate card to share with you today!

I was in Love with this "cartridge" as soon as I saw it!  Had to have it!  I used besides the Easter Blessings but also the Imagine Snapshot; Nature cartridge.  Using the Mini Cricut to cut the cross, thorn crown and words.
1) using the Snapshot; nature, I cut out a square big enough (about 6 in then trimming to fit the card) the background found on pg 9. when you hear the story of Easter and Christ being hung and the skies being darkened - this came to mind.     I then used the paper on pg 2 for the rocks that probably laid below the cross.    On page 6 the straw for the thorn crown cut at 1.444 in.  on page 4, the wood for the cross cut at 4in.

I cut the cross out 2 times  - 1x for the wood cut and the 2nd fr the rocks Then cut the rocks and layered it below the cross.

HE IS RISEN - is using black vinyl since it was tiny to glue down.  (another usage for vinyl).

Cricut Imagine The Good Old Days presents you with......

To start with a very simple card that is available on this cute cartridge..  On page 29 - a card is available for print out as well as an envelope.  How easy is this!!

you can also see this cute image on page 8 - perfect for a scrapbook LO too!

Notice the champagne bottle is sparkly. A lil extra icicle stickles made this drink even yummier. and see her bling bracelet and earring - a little bling is good for anyone!
**Stamp set sentiment is from Pink By Design Summer Vacation.
PAPER design is 2 papers from this cartridge: on pages 38 & 41. I then cut up the heart page and made it in the center.  trying to focus on the colors in this cute picture! ** I added 2 brads and adorned it with glossy essentials.  Inked around the edges using cranberry and blush ink pad from ctmh.
***The card base is cut at 5in and is a card base using the design card base on page 29 and just used the blue paper to change  -

GREETING CARDS INSIDE & OUT  Imagine cartridge
I just loved this cartridge and knew I had to have it as soon as it appeared on hello Thursday!
The french fries & ketchup is under the ketchup bottle on page 16. Cut out at 3.5 inches.  The paper appears on page 42.
THEN.. I saw this stamp set and again - perfect!  Pink By Design 'YOU ARE"  you can go here to see and purchase  more of her awesome stamp sets at Erica's store at http://www.shop.ericascraftroom.com/
** I stamped the sentiment onto a scrap piece of paper that closely resembled the french fries and inked the edges with cranberry ink pad from ctmh.
is not the french fries arms around the ketchup - just so adorable!!!

BUMP IN THE NIGHT:
I so love this cartridge!!   I  have made a simple birthday card for anyone at any age..  Wanted to keep in really simple..

** Peachy keen Stamp set PK 692  - Monster Mash face Assortment - used  the 1 3/8th face. (I want more faces this size!!)  I colored in the eyes with orange and green colored pencils.

** the sentiment is from the set "You Make Me Smile All Over" by Inkadinkado. they are sentiments spoken from children.

** Embossing  folders used for embossing mr, monster boy..  CuttlbugTiny Bubbles & Sizzix Tim Holtz Burlap.and inked over using Key Lime and Twilight ink pad from ctmh.

** All the paper is random from my large stash of misc cut up papers.. (good way to use your stash)

** Mr. Monster Boy is 3 layers.  Cut out at about 4.3 in H & 4.42 W. I cut the body (yellow) 2 times and then only embossed the one layer then torn to fit the body and stamped his cute face! giving him a layered body.

Proud of You Jayden - Imagine Card!!

Today, I can choose from the Imagine, E2, Mini or CCR exclusives. or the letter N.
                            I have chosen the IMAGINE

I hope that you have come from Erica's craft over at mycricutcraftroom.blogspot.com.  IF not, please head back over there to see what my Design team Sisters have chosen for today which includes this theme or the letter N.

I have chosen to show you 2 Imagine Cartridges..  I love these 2 - so many possibilities for them together and separate!  let me show you...

Imagine cartridges: Notebook Doodles & The Good Old Days.

Letters and Paper are from Notebook Doodles.  Paper cut out at 5.5 in and then I trimmed to fit on my card.  (found on page 3).  Letters (and it is the entire alphabet, numbers and symbols that cuts out at once) make sure to keep them ALL what you don't use - the possibilities are awesome for other projects.  anywhoose...  letters cut out 5in.

The Good Old Days cartridge is using today the boy in school (on page 20) and cut at 3in.  You can choose to cut it all at once (like I did) or separate the pieces and get more creative.

I gave this to Jayden as he has been awesome in school this year.  This is his 2nd year in 1st grade and is now just finishing up on grade level.  between reading, spelling and math  - he is excelling as far as we are concerned!!  When we show excitement - he gets so excited!!  We bought him his 1st DSI XL as a reward with also doing awesome in Tae-kwon-Do too!!

Please head back over to Erica Cricut Craft Room link... and see what my design team sisters have made for you today!!

please leave me a comment -   so love to read them!  thanks.

Jayden has gotten the card and says - that doesn't look like me , I don't have red hair! - LOL
