Teacher gift sign using School Colors 3D project for My Pink Stamper

I made the initial sign from ELEGANT EDGES Cricut cartridge cut at 11.12in in H & 9.10 in W.  Using the Oblong feature on the Gypsy/keypad overlay on # 31.
I used plain old cardboard that comes with your paper from the LSS. Using the Scrap-booking paint from Making Memories I painted in Pansy Purple.   Inked around the edging using Grey Flannel ink from Close to My heart
I then created in my Gypsy using the Font in CAR DECALS creating most of the words.  Makin' the Grade cartridge was used for the Apple and the teachers name.   I cut all the words out using Yellow vinyl from Oh My Crafts.
Red cardstock for the Apple cut out 2 times with yellow.  I used the yellow words inside the apple.  The Apple is 3d suing the dots. Close to My Heart twine was used to hang up the sign.
The black A-Z is rub-ons from Glitz Rub-ons and the smaller rub-ons are from Making Memories.  Both rub-ons have been in my stash for a while - perfect to have when you need it most!
I wanted to put a pic of a roadrunner (school mascot) but will go to the school this week and take a pic of it!  Hope you like it!

Not only is this a present for my 1st graders teacher BUT also entering it at www.mypinkstamper.com  for making a 3D school project.  Sorry I didn't have any of your stamps to use..  One day I will :)

  1. What a clever idea, it reminds me of the school signs you see people put in their yards of the sport their kids are playing that season!!! I'm sure the teacher will love it!! That font is fantastic!!
