Today is IMAGINE -nation day.. Using any Imagine cartridge and getting creative...
REMEMBERING... JUST because a title of a cartridge states a theme -there is SO MUCH MORE you can do within the "theme"... Example shown here today..
The flower is from Cricut Cartridge and cut and designed at 3inches on the Cricut craft Room. I just flooded in on the Imagine machine and printed.
I made double sided paper using the Imagine. the blue is a coordinating color to this cartridge. As I designed the paper on the Imagine -I also planned how big the flower would be and made the paper size accordingly!
How do you make double sided paper - I used a square image (from George basics) made the square size I was wanting. print it out and cut..... NEXT i then used the the same square and flooded it with the coordinating color and put it back in the same spot as it was cut fom (just turn to the white side. you might want to carefully tack it down. REPEAT print and when it was time to cut - I hit STOP.. (NOTE: next time I will stop the cut the first time and cut at the 2nd printing) - and there you have double sided paper!
I used the middle circle and excluded that from the cut BUT used it for the paper inside. So it all fit nice. using a hand hole punch in the white paper and flower.
Using a 1in book ring - It opens up - and you can put all your white paper and put your note pad together. I have 40 more to make...
Inked around the edges... Don't know If I will do this for each white piece of paper since I am putting 25 circles in each notepad... BUT for the flower I will as it coordinates with the different paper colors throughout the Imagine cartridges.
You always have the best ideas! TFS
