elephant with bunny ears and all girlied out..

Elephant & the bunny Ears are from the Paper Dolls Everyday cartridge.   Elephant and bunny are at 5.55 in width and 5.24 in height.  The bunny has just gotten her ears cut off.  (boo hoo.. I didn't have the cartridge with bunny ears but that's the great thing and Gypsy or Design Studio)  you can get creative!  her google eye in place.  Details of the elephant are listed below.     The box was colored and decorated using crayons.  My friends 6 yr old came over before school and we made this for Easter.  the box is from wal-mart and was in the party section (best occasions 8 treat boxes). it is filled with grass, yummies, and a few extra goodies!  Cerina had fun "decking" out her girl with lipstick, jewelry and nail polish.   Notice the "nose ring"  LOL

Check out her toes....  nail polish is from Fruit Punch  - Stickles.  Her tail is a pom pom ball

Notice the lipstick and her necklace...  Lipstick is fruit Punch from Stickles. Necklace is from Close to my heart (squares) and around the neck is from Heidi Swapp borders.

girls rock - for my granddaughters room

Rock princess  Cricut cartridge.  Designed on my Gypsy on the 12x24 mat.  I used Brown Vinyl from Cricut.  The sizing is 23.01 in width and 5.55 in height (the girls).   The font is from Girls Rock as well at 3.11 in height.  MY granddaughter, Kiana loves this cartridge.  This is just the beginning of her wall decor!

bling bling purse... Complete with goodies.

Completed purse which holds a prize at the baby shower I had for someone yesterday.   I used the Forever Young Cricut Cartridge.  In which you can see is the lipstick cut-out. some spare paper in my bottomless stack of patterned paper formed inside the "lipstick" and on top.  I cut to form on the top..  The bling is from Heidi Swapp Borders.  I love the rhinestone curved around the handle and a few other places.  I don't know if you can tell but it's the silver & pink bling used on the handle.

This purse held quite a bit of goodies.. including some candy.  BUT I did notice my camera date is not set properly!!  yeesh on those battery changes.

backboard for cupcakes.... and later accessory for baby room

sorry so big - but I wanted you to see how cute this board is.  All i used was a board that you buy in a cake store or even wal-mart to put cakes on..  I painted it with making memories blue scrapbook paint.  I also used the New Arrival Cricut cartridge & Paisley cricut cartridge. CTMH stamp sets: D1062 Zoo Friends & D1285 Life's A Life's a Jungle stamp set.  Letters in the words are from A Child's Year cricut cartidge.      I sealed it all in using Modge Podge.  Of course I have no picture of the cupcakes on here.. but they were yummy.   Momma to be will put this on his dressar to hold all of his goodies he got.

monkeys - so cute!!

New Arrival cricut cartridge was used for this fun wall decoration for a baby shower. (more pics to come in posts).  CS used CTMH deleted colors breeze & kiwi and 2 different brown from ctmh for the background.  I had so much with the tummy.  I used Ctmh refill ink:  mixture of white daisy & desert sand along with the liquid applique. then heat embossed.  His nose (cuter in person) is the black diamond from stickles.  I created the monkeys on my Gypsy at 9in in height.  I love my Gypsy!!

If you see the tummy close enough.  after i first heat embossed his tummy.  I used a toothpick and pulled it up all over. tried to have it look like it was standing up.  i then added a little more in areas and re-heat embossed.  Again.. it looks cuter in real life..  :)

embossed card for my hubby

Cuttlebug embossing folders used are:  from the set of LOVE SET #2.  I used the phrase me + you = us.    the background i used was a 5x7 folder. I cannot remember the exact name of the folder but it was a valentine,  I'm sure.
I sanded with sandpaper (heidi swapp) over the embossed area.  it gave it an awesome look, I do think! I then used black ink to go around the edges.  black and red card-stock was used.  A simple but awesome card!  I also used the smooch to go over the + and =     As well as smooch for the heart.

Monkey for cupcakes

Pieces cut from the NEW ARRIVAL cartridge.  I used it all except for the round small piece
besides the NEW ARRIVAL cartridge monkey I also used the Peachy Keen stamps "Critter faces size med. for the eyes and colored it in with the white daisy marker from ctmh. Ctmh cardstock was also used. For the nose.. I used the black diamond from Stickles.  His belly; this was fun.  I used the Puffy Velvet fabric marker from Marvy color brown #6; after I "smooshed" the color into the circle of the belly, I then heat embossed it and whalaa.. the belly arose all puffy like belly hair...  I have a colored toothpick glued down with hot a glue gun to the back of the monkey.  oh yes, I forgot to add that I have green for the shadow of the monkey.

I made 50 of these cutie monkeys for cupcakes for a baby shower next weekend.   it does look cuter in person that this scanned monkey... I promise  :)     here's a question... I want to do something with the mouth - but don't know exactly what.  Do you have any suggestions??

birthday invite using for Robyn's blog hop (My Pink Stamper)

Made this awesome invitation using the LIFE IS A BEACH cartridge on pg 51 in the booklet.  The swimmer and the font comes from this awesome well used cartridge!!   The paper is just paper I had from some yard sale I happened to (happily) come upon!  Ctmh card stock is used for the shorts, fun and goggles.  The edges were inked with ctmh ink.
I'm sorry I am late posting this onto the blog.  We were celebrating our anniversary today.. 11 years!!

Easter 2010 Easter basket. a basket full of eggs!

Isn't this just an adorable Easter egg basket!!  My friend Stacy made this while we were at our Cricut Swarm.  I had stickles on hand and talked her into using them on the Easter eggs.  She is new to "Cricutting"...    She has this hanging up on her fireplace. it looks awesome!!  Made on her Expression at fit to page.
