Erica's Craft Room is sponsoring this blog hop with ONE of the prizes
being a Cricut Mini machine. Be sure to comment on ALL of the blogs both
days to be entered to win the Cricut Mini Machine!
Using the Cricut Cartridge April Showers (overlay # 9 & 19) cutting out at 3.5inches. I used the watercolor crayons from Stampin Up bold brights.. using 3 colors (blue, yellow orange) and green for the handle. I then used the Glossy accents to give it a glossy look but no.... I smeared it and tried to rub the smudge off and made a mess.. BUT.... LO & Behold... my hubby liked the effect it had. so after a while - I did too. it looks like a real cool umbrella!!!
Using peacock Liquid Pearls - I dotted the bottom tips and the top of pole.
On my card I have raindrops coming down as I enhanced them using Icicle & baby blue stickles for the rain drops.
Stamp sentiment is from Close to My Heart D1287 May Word Puzzle.
I put blue cardstock in the inside of card to give the scalloped trim some color. as this was a base card from a set of cards.
I hope you like my card. Tomorrow you will see what the April Showers will bring... So please come back tomorrow to see what the rain will bring us..
Please go over to Especially Ashley's blog for an amazing April shower day.. project you surely will not want to miss!

I love it, Doris! Some of my best techniques were discovered by mistake. Crafting is about making mistakes. Artistry is knowing which ones to keep. Today you are an artist.
