Die - cut Spring/Easter

I am/was  (by the time you see this) in a swap with my design team at mycricutcraftroom.blogspot.com and this is what I created with the instructions:

4in diecut using the colors - apple, blueberry and grape  (AKA... shades of red, blue, & purple) and to be spring/Easter.

using the cartridge: April Showers and # 28 & 38 on the overlay.  I left the little circle cut out on the flower by using my gypsy and hiding features to create different colors.

BLUE: I cut the base out (entire image on #28) 2 times and then cutting off the flower and leaf to leave only the base flower pot which allowed me to make it blue.   and then inked around the edges using dutch blue ctmh ink pad.

I used cuttlebug (the long thin embossing; 7in in length plate) and used it on the top and bottom of the flower pot and then slightly sanding the embossed area.

PURPLE: Using my favorite faces Peachy Keen  Stamps - I used the face from the PKSC-03 March 2012 set that featured the Gnomes. (you can see this set at http://www.peachykeenstamps.com/  under Peachy keen Clubs on the left side of their store site)  right in the middle (or so slightly) of this cute flower.  I used warm red color box chalk inkpad with the tip of my finger to slightly give a little 'blush" to her cheeks.

Using Stickles lavender - I enhanced around the flower face.

Color Box chalk inkpad colors Lime Pastel and another green (sorry lid lost) to enhance and bring the leaf a little to life :)

RED: The Red top of the flower pot has been distressed using the ctmh block distressor.   inked around the edges using Cranberry ink pad from ctmh

I hope that you like this cute lil diecut that can be enhanced on a LO or a card!
