My Creative time Throwback Challenge with green & yellow baby gift bag

l
Paper bag from Micheal's.  Cricut cartridges used are Graphically Speaking for "Handle with Care, " cut at 5.29w and New Arrival for baby cut at 3.82h.    Background paper was used from my stash because it was green and because it had hearts and it was cute....  My Handle with care is using yellow paper from Ctmh as the green background is unknown from my stash.  Brown Kraft paper is used for baby.  I used the Peachy Keen Stamp set PK 651 Just Baby Faces 1 1/8.  isn't this such a cute face!!   I used Z463 Spring harmony CTMH Sassy Strands to wrap around the bag as well as it is holding the baby up.  hence the phrase.. Handle with Care  :)

I hope you can see the baby hanging using the 3d dots from Stampin Up.  see his arm....  My granddaughter, Shayanna, age 2 decided she HAD to help baby..  sorry....   The yellow that  kinda sorta highlighted around the baby is using a yellow crayon from Stampin Up.    I am not sure if you can tell or not - BUT I double cut the blanket and 3d' it on top of the original cut.  It looks much cuter.   I left this bag a simple bag and perhaps will add a little more flair when the time comes to use it.

challenge from and for Whimisical Wednesday posting. NON - CRICUT (yikes.. imagine that)

NOT cricut but none the less.. just as cute as ever...

I used the round cardboard "thingy"  that you can put cakes on inside of boxes..  This was for a baby shower that I was going to.  I just used my patterned paper that I had that coordinated with the baby shower theme.  I used bling on the baby toes and on/around the letters and board.  Stickers were used for the ribbon in middle and the feet.  Chipboard white letters (can't remember who made them.. had 'em a while).  I topped these off with the Matte Modge podge.  After we were done with the cupcakes and the cake, we just wiped them off and mama to be took them home.  NOW.. you could hang these up (cuter in person) or use them on a dresser.   JUST A NOTE:  THE MOM WHOM I MADE THESE FOR PUT A PICTURE OF HER LIL GIRL AND I HEARD SHE HUNG THEM UP ON HER WALL!  :)

lil boy holding a bag of food that will be dehyrdated for the hungry in Africa.

**This lil boy made at 9.24 inches was helped created by my 6yr old who was helping for God's kids.  brown hair & the chalk to highhlight his hair is from ctmh.  **Blue and green scraps from various companies was used for his shirt and shorts and created out of the cartridge Everyday Paper Dolls. ** I used chalk from CTMH  for the cheeks and not my best work but around his lips and his clothing.  **A black marker was used to highlight around his clothes.**  White chalk marker around his shoes, ** the initials JC on his shirt were odd n ends of embellishments from a Christmas set from some time ago./ *** Do you know what JC stands for???   **His eyes are the google eyes from Michaels.

The food is cut-out from the newspaper to represent the foods that will be packaged in a baggie for Africa.  (I, of course missed a few things) They will be dehydrated in sealed bags.  We will make 7,239 bags with the members of our church.  (prayers please) Our youth group during the 30hr famine recently had completed (I believe) 2,000 bags.

4 post it notes and 2 ink pads and a stamp set - how fun could this be!!

I was going through past cards and projects i made and thought this was a fun card to make. SO.. I wanted to share it with you.  POST IT NOTE were used. I believe I only used 4 sheets.  I used  2 colors of ink and a Close to my heart stamp set  ANY stamp set would be ideal...   I positioned the post it's in a design to leave a space on the card.  I then inked that area with a color.  move the post it's to different areas and switch colors.  I left a space in the middle for the highlight of my card; here it is a flag.  when the card is covered I used a tissue or a sponge and wiped the card, it kind of spreads the ink across other colors. You then use the stamps of choice where ever you choose.    Make sure you position the stamp set off the page for a more realistic look.          EASY PEESY and such an unique, fun card.

butterfly card with embossing

I hope you can see all the details that are in this awesome lil butterfly card I have made for my friends lil girls BD party tonight.      Gypsy wanderings cartridge is used for the bottom tag layer and the butterfly..    the Bling used is from Close to my Heart as well as the cardstock and ink for edging.  I used the princess Cuttlebug Cricut embossing folder on the background and then sanded it.  LOVE the effect it gives.  The butterfly  is a 3D effect.  The felt (omg - can't even remember where it come from except from the LSS.   I inked with CTMH watermelon ink all over the card to give it a bright pink effect.

I hope you like the card.  I think it's cuter in person than scanned in. Let me know what you think.  Her sister is celebrating her bd tonight too. So an elephant will be here soon.

NOTE::As I look at the butterfly more - it looks cute BUT I will be changing the inside of pink to pale yellow as the other side looks so much cuter!

graduation card.. non cricut but awesome the same!

My granddaughter Shayanna who is 2.5.  I accidently pulled her pic in and then she was so happy....  how could I delete her.  She is such a grandmas's girl!!

I started making this card for a friend and I loved the results so much that I made a couple more and decided to post it.  I will (try) and save it for a submit to a craft magazine.. (If I can..).   OKAY.. the details...   Close To my heart is used for the card-stock; (amethyst & brown) The blue is from jawbreaker; a paper line name that was a scrap.   Ink edging (honey & heavenly blue) and the white flower (the one in middle),   the purple flower is from Prima flowers (the ones in the jars)  and the yellowish bottom flower is from Prima; floral embellishment.  the brown brad was that of a package that was opened and dumped into my lil bin of brads - it's the prettiest brown bad I had.   And last but the prettiest...  the lacy knit ribbon from Bo Bunny; Bella Journel     The verse is a copy that my friend had and i copied it (with her ok).  it was old??.. so source of where she bought it is unknown ; but the author is Beth Stuckwisch.  Isn't it a beautiful saying.
I hope you like the close-ups.  I am so an amateur for picture taking....

Bible saying with bookmark on wall.. in our church.

Made from poster board and cut out. I am not even sure of the size since I used the projector to enlarge.  I used Making memories Scrapbook paint (Gold) and painted like the pages of the bible).  letters from cricut cartridge Plantin SchoolBook.  I then highlighted around the bible with a black highlighter.
Ribbon is from CTMH (a couple of years back).  I cut the cross from The Inspired Heart cricut cartridge.  layered it with scraps of awesome paper from my stash and hung it so pretty as a bookmark

Sorry hung sideways.  The bible hangs up between the double doors leading to the sanctuary.  it is a lot larger than it seems in the picture.
