Mason is turning 2 -already!!  so today we will celebrate his birthday!!

first project today is a frame - I love frames - especially when you make them yourself!!   I used a plain 5x7 mat opening mat.  had these awesome stickers for a while now - Studio basics 101 from creative imaginations called "rugged boys" and a few from pebbles inc. called "My Guy".  I just stuck them on there letting a few hang off a little.
Inked around the edge and on top using a yellow sponge and the colors Star Spangled Blue, chocolate, & orange ink pads from Ctmh.  SIMPLE AND EASY and now I have a cute boy frame!!  NOW JUST THE HANDSOME LIL GUY IN THE MIDDLE!

did you notice I 'tried" to make the bubble words like they were coming from the engine..

26 march - card day wth color scheme

Today is Sketch Day using the colors pastel green and pastel Yellow and 1 other color AND using the sketch seen here.

I was excited to remember the Cricut Cartridge 50 States as it has ALL the states flowers..   so using the flower for South Carolina on page 52 and #40 on the overlay. perfect for today as it has these pretty spring colors.  This flower is called Yellow Jessamine.  Flowers cut out at 1.24h and the little ones at 1in h.

purple was my 3rd choice for my colors as I used it as the base of my card and inked using Amethyst ink pad from ctmh.  paper chosen was Amethyst from ctmh.    I chose Buttercup (yellow) and Sweet leaf (green)  both from ctmh

I embossed the leaves using Forest Branches cuttlebug embossing folder.  AND for the flowers I used cuttlebug paper lace 2 flowers.  after embossing I ran a little sandpaper over it to expose the white underneath and then inked it a little using colors matching the papers.

when you are done putting the flower together you get a pretty 3d raised flower.

FRAME: is using Elegant Edges cricut cartridge and cutting out at 5.20w & 5.88w.  Inking the larger frame with buttercup ink pad from Ctmh.   ON the top frame I used Buttercup liquid pearls around some of the edges.
Ribbon is a light green organdy ribbon from Ctmh.

Stamp set sentiment is one of my favorites from Kristal Andrews called Scripture Sayings.  You can see and get this stamp set and more at www.kandrewdesigns.com.

VINYL projects..

  I am so excited today to be a Guest designer over at  www.creativecraftcorner.com.  I thank Karey for having me.  Please show her some love by going back over to her blog and leaving a comment and becoming a follower.    We are Also Design team Sisters over at Erica Cricut Craft Room as well.. so an honor to work with her and display my work on her Blog.  THANKS KAREY!

What will I show you today??   I am going to show you the different ideas you can put Vinyl on.   I love Vinyl. Many are intimated by what to do with them.  today, I will show you different things I have used Vinyl on.  perhaps you might have seen a few of my posts from last year..  and hopefully you will see many ideas that are new and give Vinyl a chance.

Imagine Vinyl is very different from Regular shiny vinyl you that you would buy from either Cricut or the other various companies.  You can use Vinyl on clothing, walls, vehicle/ home / business windows, home decor, containers, cards, scrapbooks, school projects, etc.. the list goes on!!  Remember there are different types of vinyl as well...

Sports mania and printing 101 cartridges were used for this awesome car decal!  It has been on my car window for nearly 2 years through the weather and car washes and still going strong!  I used regular vinyl.

THIS WAS FUN!  CHOCOLATE PAPER AND THE WORDS YOU SEE. OTHER SIDE WAS HAPPY BIRTHDAY!  this is used at our church after service when our pastor's wife recognizes birthdays/anniversaries and these words are what we sing to them...  ALL ON A WHITE PAPER SACK
